The problem
Hiring still started with a resume and a keyword search
Recruiters spent a lot of time reading CVs, checking claimed skills, building shortlists and trying to decide whether someone actually fit the role — before anyone had sat an interview.
That gets harder when talent sits in several places at once: employees, bench, recruitment vendors and outside applicants. The brief was a platform that could give hiring teams assessed, evidence-backed intelligence before they spent more interview time.
What we built
We built the whole hiring platform
This was not a slice of the product. We took VettList from the brief through to a working platform: talent, assess, profile, match, interview, evaluate, hire.
01
Structured profiles from resumes
- Convert a CV into a profile hiring teams can actually search and compare
- Hold skill evaluation, experience alignment and history in one place instead of a PDF
02
Assess before you interview
- Pre-vet available professionals on technical and functional skills, communication, and logical thinking
- Produce a talent score and badge from assessment performance, not self-declared claims
03
Match jobs and people in both directions
- Describe the role in ordinary language — the platform finds people who fit, without a Boolean string
- Job → talent and talent → job, so open roles and available people can find each other
04
A first-round interview you can review
- Role-specific AI interviews that follow the job, the resume, experience and configured topics
- A written evaluation, fitment summary and recorded session for the hiring team to decide the next round
What changed
A hiring workflow with evidence attached.
More than the CV
- Profiles carry assessment results, interview results, scores and recordings
- Hiring teams can see demonstrated capability before they book the next round
Matching that is not keyword search
- Natural-language requirements instead of Boolean strings
- Suitable people for a role, and suitable roles for a person
One workflow for several talent sources
- The VettList talent pool and company-uploaded resumes, including bulk matching
- Internal and external sources in the same hiring path instead of separate spreadsheets
What this unlocked
VettList is a platform we built and shipped end to end, not a prototype of one hiring step. Hiring teams get a first view of a professional that is assessed and recorded. The next interview still belongs to people.
